Summary

The study creates a single-cell multi-omic atlas of human neocortical development, identifying tripotential intermediate progenitors that generate GABAergic neurons, oligodendrocyte precursors, and astrocytes, and shows glioblastoma cells share their transcriptomic features. It also links second-trimester intratelencephalic neurons to increased autism risk.
