Summary

Leveraging a meta-analytic, cell type–aware coexpression framework across 4.5 million single cells, this work sets a field-wide benchmark for how faithfully human neural organoids capture developing brain biology, pinpoints reproducible deficits such as ECM/vascular programs, and provides an R toolkit for routine, protocol-agnostic QC.
